Bought acreage last August and it came with the chicken hilton and 6 chickens. One was sick right after we bought the place and died. Another died on Christmas morning with a large impacted crop. I necropsied the crop and found a large pumpkin seed in there. I bought two more adult hens and successfully introduced them to the group. That brings me to 1 RIR, 1 barred rock, 1 black silkie, 1 sultan, 1 bantam, and 1 aracana(sp?). Also have horses, cats, and dogs.
