I'm right there with you on fishers. There have been a few posts on the Massachusetts thread from those who don't believe they have fishers because they've not seen them. That's just like the bear and coyote populations. Just believe they are out there and if and when you do see them they have likely done their damage. Also, the fisher I saw in my yard was over 3 feet long. I believe he would be able to move a cinder block given motivation to do so.We experienced some expansion/contraction and the fastener was compromised. We had been blocking with 5-lb cinderblock. Also, fishers here in Maine need streams and the nearest stream is 2 blocks away and (fool me!) it was figured it would be fine. Well, they have hands! and are strong...and I had never in 6-8 years had such an experience. Well, look out - I'm taking the lead with predator precautions! I found them - so awful...
