Hello from Mid-MI new chicks!

We are just getting our farm started with a purchase of 21 chicks. We have a coop ready as our brooder box in the basement continues to shrink :)
As soon as the cold (haha) is gone they'll be ready to move to their outdoor house!

Thanks for the welcome! I've really enjoyed browsing the threads on BYC, tons of great info! We were so fortunate to find that box on the side of the road on the way home with the baby chicks!! Here are our 5 biggest girls out for the first time today 3- barred, 2 Easter Eggers . They were "big chickens" stayed in the safety of their tub most of the time, lol!

Good luck with your poultry raising adventures, and I hope you find everything you need to know. Don't forget to take a look at BYC's very useful learning center (If you haven't already)! The learning center as well as the forum should answer your questions! Glad to have you here! I hope your chickens are happy and healthy!
