My name is Laina and I am originally from Texas. Married to the military for 16 1/2 years and now I have a poultry hobby farm! Only I can't bring myself to eat anything that I grow! I just give the eggs away to whoever wants them. I also try to get some in the incubator to see if I can get them to hatch, although I am not very successful at that!

Having calibrated thermometerS and humidity gauges are a big help when incubating.

If you would like to share Pictures and Stories of your flock, you have come to the right place. BYC’ers never tire of these and do not back away slowly or commence eye rolling when the photo album or home videos come out ;)

Including your general location on your profile will assist others. Location, climate, season etc can be important factors when members are responding to any questions you may have and vice versa.
