My name is Jen and I currently have 16 production Rhode Island Reds that are between 1 and 2 years old. Now I have 14 2 week old True Blood Rhode Island Red baby Chicks that I bought and am raising inside my house! I have 1 rooster that is a cross between a silkie and a Old English Game Hen. His name is Fog Horn Leg Horn. Poor guy was born with a deformed leg...he only has one spur!! But that way he does a lil les damage to the ladies if you catch my drift!
I sell their eggs because Rhode Island Reds are new to my area of Minnesota here and people just go CRAZY for them! But I love my chickens..their all over my facebook and I love my lil ones even more. Honey Bunny is the one looking right at my phone camera when i took the picture. (and to be safe I didn't use the flash!) I have a lot of Questions about the babies so expect a few posts from me in the near future! I am looking forward to being a part of an awesome community! And youre right..it is a religion!!!
