Hi!! I am from Minnesota and I have 8 lovely grown ladies (2 black astralorps, 3 ISA's and 3 Buff's). I recently purchased 2 BLRW, 1 Barred Rock and 1 Golden Laced Wyandotte. These girls are almost 5 weeks old. And then my shipment arrived at the country store. And we recieved 9, even though I ordered 8. 2 Prairie Bluebell Eggers, 2 Silver laced wyandotte, 2 Sapphire Gems and 3 Ameraucana's. ::whew::

My husband and I have 4 children and 2 labs.

I'm looking to learn more about my breed of chickens, how to introduce the 5 week old chicks to the 3 week old chicks and the big girls.
 
Thank you!! I was thinking that may be the way. We have had a few warm days, so I brought the 5 week old girls out and put them in a secured, enclosed area with our older hens wondering around. But I would like to get the 3 week old chicks and 5 week old chicks together. Would that be a wise move? Or should I introduce the older hens and 5 week old girls first?
