Just wanted to introduce myself, I live in Idaho with: 10 kids, 2 dogs, 4 cats, 1 guinea pig and 6 chickens. Oh, and 1 very patient husband
. I'm new to the chicken world and have lots of questions, I'm so glad I found BYC! You all seem so nice and helpful. I hope that I can learn a lot and tend to my chicks myself without using a vet. My flock consists of 1 arucana (Clementine) 1 Rhode Island red (Henrietta) 1 Australorpe (Elvira) 2 barred rocks (Pollyanna and Abigail) and 1 Black sex-link (Miss Lizzy)... I bought them all as young hens, already laying. They free range during the day, and roost in an enclosed and gated coop at night. So far they've done very well establishing their pecking order, but I have a few "chicken questions" and I'm hoping to avail myself of all the expertise here on BYC! Thank you in adavance for any and all help you can supply!
