Hello BYC!

New laws this year allow up to 6 backyard chickens for eggs. Hoo rah! So, I.started with 4. 2 RIR, 1 Barred rock, and 1 buff Orpington. We love our girls.... Have them all named. Much to my surprise, Tinkerbell , the buff Orpington, CROWS! Lol, well now we call him Tinker Bob. Thank goodness the neighbors don't mind. I love them and can't wait for eggs and chicks. I wonder how to have them both.

Your hens may or may not go broody. If they don't you might have to hatch out their eggs yourself with an incubator.
