Good morning and welcome to BYC! Hatching chicks is so much fun. Best wishes for a successful hatch. Are they all Orpington eggs or is it a community nest? I have 2 serama pullets brooding and I noticed yesterday that each has a Polish egg under her too.

Thank you all for kind wishes. First 2 chics out. One more beak is poking out. So far so good. Calling them the giant halves. Luckily momma is doing her thing, hopefully she will raise them all the way thru

So exciting! Our first jersey giants are almost 4 weeks old. We hatched them ourselves. Holding my breath to see what we’ve got. So far Im guessing 4 Roos and 3 hens. I’d rather more hens, but we’ll see! Be sure to post more pics as they hatch!
