hi there!
I just joined this forum but I have been referencing this website for various chicken questions for the past several months. I thought it was time to join!
I have four chickens- two speckled Sussex pullets, one buff Orpington, and one Cornish. I bought them from a farm I used to work at (they were the rogue girls who always escaped and the manager was happy to let them go home with me). These chickens are me and my partner’s first and we’re learning all the time. We love getting fresh eggs everyday. When our pullets finally started laying eggs we danced and yelled with joy and excitement.
I found backyardchickens right after I brought my chickens home. I google searched how to get them to leave their new coop- and the first result I clicked brought me to this helpful forum.
