at the moment I'm not sure.
I have seven old English Game Bantams, with 12 eggs being incubated.
Two silkies.
Three Easter Eggers
19 In my main egg layer flock.
Seven chicks.
And numerous broody hens sitting on numerous eggs!
It's gonna be a busy Spring!
I didn't even mention the ducks

I visited NZ in 1982. I had plans to settle there.
Are there many battery hen rescue schemes?

i rang my closest SPCA in Wellington and the gave me the number for Elamore Rescue and Rehoming Centre.
