[Idaho Chicken Bungalow]

I'm an older man (59) at the edge of the Ozarks who just bought his very first piece of land (2 acres). It's not much land, but it's beautiful and all mine. Thankfully, it has been protected for decades by a loving, six foot tall canopy of briars, so there's good bare land underneath. I've cleared about an acre and have the battle scars to prove it.

Next year, I plan to start a small flock of maybe a dozen layers, and a hundred for meat. Rabbits too.

Well, I'm just here to relearn what I've probably forgotten after more than 20 years without chickens as I paint my body with Neosporin to ward off Briar Fever.
