Hi everyone.. I'm new here but not new to chickens..

I have 5 acres in Kay county Oklahoma, where I raise and yes butcher pigs, chickens, guineas, and the occasional duck.

Hi there, I'm Kim and I'm in Guthrie, Oklahoma! Glad to see another Oklahoman! I have a blog I started called http://www.chickenscratchdiy.com. It's a way to connect people with each other and have them learn through experiences. I am originally from California and had no clue how to raise chickens. I don't want that to stop me. So I am using my experiences good and bad to help educate people about the blessing of raising backyard chickens! My goal is to have any willing person to have the confidence to not let the past stop anyone from trying to own backyard chickens regardless of where anyone comes from. Welcome!
