I am trying to help a friend locate Marans Black Copper or Wheaten
that he grew up with, he lives in Kentucky near South Shore, his family sold eggs and produce along Route 23 Kentucky, while my friend was away at College in the mid 80's his grandfather sold Sugar Melon seeds to a Seed Buyer that was buying seeds from farmers in the area, the birds were given to the Seed Buyer, all my friend was told by his family was the birds were somewhere in northern Ohio, I am trying to help my friend locate birds from the birds he grew up with, they were brought here after the war and was in his family since that time until the mid to late 80's when the birds were given away, possibly someone purchased eggs in the Kentucky area that they incubated, or possibly someone may know the name of this Seed Buyer, any information would be greatly appreciated, I can be e-mailed at [email protected] my name is Victoria and the familys name that had the birds was Hardin
Thank you.
