Hello all, I have been lurking for ten weeks...lol...
(the age of my oldest chickens)
I have had chickens in the past but have never learned so much about them as I have my current girls/ boy!
I love all my critters (from feed store) and so far out of 14, I have one Roo
Unfortunately he was my only Speckled Sussex and my very favorite chick. He is a good boy that is 10 weeks old now and crowed for me on his 9 week b-day!! I would like you to meet the whole gang!!!!! Including Susie the Speckled Sussex Roo!! with (2 SLW, 2GLW, 1 Buffy, the Orpington, of course, 2 Black Australorps (the My Sharonas,lol) 1 Amber white, named, of course Amber, feed store said cross of White leghorn and Rhode Island Red?
And now the youngsters, that I will have to introduce to the big girls, er, and boy, in a few weeks.
3 EE or Ameraucana, depending on what sign you read at the feed store.lol, Miss Cuckoo Marans and my little Mottled Java
