Hello from our tiny flock!

Hello all! Brand new chicken keeper here! Three years ago we bought a 1/2 acre fixer upper and I knew I wanted to raise chickens here. I finally made that happen recently! Bless my husbands heart, he loves me more than he hates chickens.

We have three (hopefully...that barred rock though...) ladies that I love very much. One silkie, one barred rock, and one questionable Orpington (I posted a separate thread regarding her breed), Lily, Poppy, and Buttercup, respectively. They are quickly outgrowing their brooder so we are trying to finish their coop before they become little chick sardines.

Anyway, thank you in advance for your wisdom that I’m sure I will be partaking of in the coming months.
