Hello from PA

Well, hello neighbor! We are technically in New Oxford, but nobody has heard of that so I usually mention G-burg as everyone knows where that is. I love the member ID

Many years ago "husbandsaidno" to chickens, and suggested peacocks as an alternative. He's regretted it ever since (as we now have 40 of those and chickens as well) and so he seldom says no these days. I don't suppose you would be interested in any really big, really colorful chickens????

Just kidding. And thanks to everyone for all the welcomes!

I am very familiar with new Oxford . Great little Italian Resturant downtown and lots of Antiques!
If your serious about the chickens I would love to take a look, if not where did you purchase them and what kind do you have? I'm a little nervouse about ordering them online but I'm not sure where there is a local breeder.

Hi again, I was actually just making a joke. We refer to our Peacocks as the "Big Blue Chickens", and that was what I meant by "really big, and really colorful". I have only 2 little Serama hens at present, but I do know somebody Local in Aspers who breeds rare and heritage poultry breeds, both chicken and turkey. She has some Peacocks she got from me and I have some guineas I got from her. Let me know if you would like contact info.
