Coop plans drawn up, I have a spot on my 1 acre...very excited about building it with my hands rather than buying one.

Decided on Buff Orpingtons, Black Austrolorps and ( Blue) Golden Laced Wyandottes...after 3 books, and many magazines.

Had leghorns and rhode island reds as a child....when I was 7-10 years old, then we moved to the city so now, many years later ( I'm 47), and in a semi rural area and it's time to get some chickens !

Glad to have found this site, the combined chicken knowledge must be incalculable!
