Hi, I've been on here for a few months but have been slow to start posting.I got my first chickens and ducks last year about this time and have been browsing BYC since. I started with 2 free roosters and 4 ducklings and decided my roosters needed some hens (didn't want them to be alone). I now have a total of 33 chickens and 8 ducks, they are so addictive! We are currently building them a permanent coop and can't wait for it to be finished. My goal is to eventually raise all the meat my family needs and have recently added rabbits. I have a silver fox buck and will be buying a California white doe next month, this is so exciting and am looking forward to expanding my small farm and spending time learning from fellow BYC members!
