I've been on here learning and searching other threads... such as heating a coop (not needed in the south), integrating silkies (probably shouldn't have tried), tube feeding a sick chicken (it's not hard if you make your own), etc.

Great suggestion! On Saturday we bought our first two chickens at the chicken swap at The Urban Chicken.
