We're still some time away from adding chickens which is why I'm here. The only breed I know I want are some silkies. I'll definitely be browsing the breeds to see what else I'd like to add, since I don't really want just one type. I have all fall/winter to plan :) I have coop questions so I'll make a new post in the right section in the next day or so as well. Since it needs some sprucing up, I want to make sure I make the best use of what already exists.

Now I get to wait impatiently to come out of moderation :) I invite the mods to make a quick search of my username to determine if I'm human enough or not :) (I used to moderate forums in the past too, so I get it lol)

Steven, what part of SC? We're down in Holly Hill, so somewhere between Columbia and Charleston.

I live around Camden. About 30 to 40 miles from Columbia.
