Hi there,,

just introducing myself. New to chicken keeping and absolutely loving it, although i didnt realise i'd get so attached to them. we have 5 hybrids, a speckledy, a bluebell, a white sussex, a silver sussex and 2 redrocks.

the hybrids are like humans stuck in chicken bodies

and the others aren't quite as brazen

I have a Sussex and a Bluebell too. I love the Bluebells!

Glad you could join us here! I too did not realise how attached I would become!! If I'd known how great chickens were to keep I would have got them much sooner. You have some great breeds there that are great egg layers so you should have lots of fresh eggs. You really can't be fresh eggs! Hope you get the chance to pop over to the UK thread that CT left the link for. Hope to see you there
