Welcome to Backyard chickens, so glad you joined the flock. Your silkies are beautiful - do you show them? There are several dedicated silkie threads on BYC, ie, "Buff Silkies," "Nothing But Partridge Silkies," "Paint silkies," etc. My favorite thread is simply "Silkie thread."
