Hi all-

We are in the process of moving to Massachusettes. My kids have been dying for chickens, especially as we have been staying at Grandma's for the last few days and she has a few herself.

We probably won't get any chickens until next summer. We need to figure out where to situate the coop, and of course build it! But over the next little while I hope to soak in all of your wisdom so our chickens can have a happy life!

.. It really does make so much sense to study first, check out your town ordinances if you wont be in the country make sure its allowed .. No what you will need ahead of time rather than running around like a chicken with its head ...uhhh well I wont finish that one ! HA HA ~Corinne
