Hello from South Africa

Am just outside Bloemfontein in the Free State in South Africa. There are 50+ adult chickens sleeping in the hen run outside and about 50 chicks. 20 adult geese and 2 little ones that keep escaping their pen - to their parents consternation. Luckily into the falcon-proof run and not outside though. 2 male and 6 female muscovy - 2 on nests and 1 with 4 (+1 adopted) ducklings.
I have found this site useful in the past, so thought it's time to sign up.
