Hello from South Carolina!

Hello, I'm in Orangeburg, SC. My fiancee and I have just started with some young chicks. We have 9 ameracauna pullets, 4 gold sex link pullets, and 5 blue silkie chicks. Ideal also sent us 5 barred rock cockerels with the order for warmth so we will be rehoming 4 of the cockerels. We plan on building an a frame coop with a run for them all. The chicks will be 2 weeks old on Monday so we will be working on the coop soon:)

what's up ya'll? I live in Greenville, SC, but Im from Six Mile, SC. Anyhow, I dont have any birds right now, but I'm looking for some Lemon Blue OE's and some Wyandotte Bantams. I've had birds mostly my whole life growing up, but once I was forced into getting rid of them all once I moved to Greenville. I'm now attempting to get back in the game!

I am from Irmo. I have just gotten into raising chickens for some friends of mine who have a farm near Pomaria. I have 24 New Hampshire Reds and 10 Aracaunas. They are gorgeous!

Welcome.

Nice to have you on board tmk. It is fun to see how many SC folks there are here. Anyone near McConnells or York or Rockhill or CHester? I am kind of between them all and would love to meet someone close by! Be fun to meet other chicken people in the flesh! Most people I know think I am pretty out there with all the chicken stuff we do...

Back atcha gamecock. You are working back in Conway or further toward Aynor? My kids go to school in Aynor so I am trucking up and down 501 all the time. And it is getting more expensive every day to do so.
We're Gamecock fans also. If your user name refers to the university and not chickens!
