Welcome! I'm pretty new here, too, but wanted to say that I just put away my Christmas decorations and with them, the lovely little corncob ornament that we bought in southeast SD at the Corn Palace in Mitchell! We drove from CT to CA for a dog show in '04-- what a memorable trip!

Astrid, thank you for the welcome; would you believe I've never been to the Corn Palace, and it's only like 40 miles away...*blushes* I've driven right past it; had a funeral to go to in Mitchell, and another time we drove by it when we were looking at car dealerships in Mitchell. I will get their someday though.
