thanks sumi it will be fun to treat them! they are pulling half my strawberry plants throu the side of the run, i dont mind loosing one or two but im asuming they are alright to eat that?

OMG! just found a thread with list of treats on here and things chickens shouldnt eat! stawberry plants are only bloody toxic for them! never moved so fast in my life! whipeed it all out of there, thankfully they only pulled it throu but no signs of having eten any at all, l think ive got clever chickens

when i said i didnt mind loosing one or two i meant plants not chickens!!!

well my offering of sliced banana didnt go down well! they took one peck at it and looked at me with what i can only guess was disgust and they wiped there beaks on the ground insanely! oh how they entertain me lol
