(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? New to chickens, no, I've been around chickens my entire life, in fact, I can't remember a time that my dad didn't have chickens when we were kids. My husband and I've had always had chickens.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? Total about 50 chickens and 10 ducks.
(3) What breeds do you have? We have 6 Golden Laced Polish, 10 Americanas, 10 Sex-Linked, 10 White Leghorns, 1 game/bantam mix hen with 14 babies, and 6 game/bantam mix without chicks, and one rooster.
(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com? I found you by using google, read a few of the messages and loved it.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? I like to read, crochet and cook.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. My family and I live on a small farm. My husband and I have one son. I'm currently working on my associates degree. We have a variety of livestock other than chickens on the farm. We have four calves, two pigs, six rabbits, two cats, and a little dog.
