Thanks for such warm welcomes everyone! I have been somewhat dishearted by the fact that so many townships, villages and cities in the county are not welcoming backyard poulty. It almost seems like I have to get some "quiet hens" and keep them on the sly! I've been looking for a new house and have been checkin out the particular ordinances for each city/village/township to see if they are "poultry friendly" .
My sister who's a realtor will say.."We will find four chicken house!"
Anyhoo, I can see you are all a great bunch of folks. Hopefully soon Ill be able to contribute more than just wishful dreams of backyard chicken ownership.
