I'm pretty new to having chickens. I currently have 3 BR and 6EE pullets as well as what I 'think' is a bantam Cochin roo (he was a rescue... Dumped in the woods).
From reading a lot of the threads, I feel lucky that I got ALL healthy females from the feed store.
I LOVE having chickens. They are so fun!!

Hi and welcome to BYC - great to have you onboard! Sure looks like a nice flock you have there. If you haven't done already, the learning centre is a great repository for all things chicken. Similarly, you can check out your state thread and join in with members from your area - they can be great in terms of giving area specific advice etc.

I'm glad that you enjoy keeping your chickens and i hope that you enjoy being a member as much of the rest of us. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to holler!
