Hello from sw pennsylvania

Hi,
We are just getting started with chickens . I had some when i was a very small child and now that i have kids of my own decided this would be a nice thing to get started in . We also have dogs , cats , dusty the horse ,steve the mini horse , a mama goat and baby , bunnies. We are located a half mile from wv. We are in the uniontown pa area . Any advice would be great we have about 50 chicks some rir some white leghorns some brown leghorns some silkies some banties .

Thank you very much and the info links u provided anwers alot of my questions ..I will try to post some pics of my crew i have a few chicks that im not sure what they r i know they r a type of banty or silky but not sure. Hopefully with all of you being so knowledgeable it will make this hobby a little easier..thank u so much
