Hi, I use to have ducks until a fox entered the picture. He dug under the fence and took out all four. We have one old goose now. I love ducks. They are very hardy birds and fun to watch. I wish you lots of hours of enjoyment and good luck with them.

I am so sorry about your babies. My daughter is afraid of that also. So right now they are in my house. Lol. She bought a chicken coop and she is putting chicken wire on the bottom to hopefully prevent any foxes, raccoons or bobcats from getting in. They have imprinted on her and really love her. Thank you

Chicken wire won't keep any predators out. It only keeps chickens from escaping. 1/2" hardware cloth is the gold standard and no - I don't sell any. You may enjoy checking out "Show us your house ducks." Other folks keep them as house pets also.

@drumstick diva is 100% right. Chicken wire will not protect them, & @Pork Pie Ken has giving you the best link to the duck community on here!
