I live in northeast Texas near Sulphur Springs in Hopkins County which used to be known as the "Land of Milk and Money" There were over 500 dairies operating here at one time. Only a hundred or so now. Nice sandy loam dirt that will grow just about anything.
I Just found the forum a couple of days ago. Lots of great info. I haven't been able to have chickens for quite some time, but that is soon to change. I bought five acres and am trying to get moved out there ASAP(hopefully by Spring)! I will be raising goats and a BUNCH of chickens. I will most likely add guineas, ducks and peafowl before it is all said and done. Thanks in advance for all the advise and help that I know I will receive here.
