Hello from Texas!

Hello from Texas back at ya. I'm near Gonzales and about an hour from San Antonio.
Sounds like you have a nice flock. I'm still very new to all this, infact, I don't even have chickens yet but I can't wait to get started hopefully very soon.

Thank you!
My husband and his father have tons of experience with chickens (FIL used to be a poultry judge). I'm such a newbie! We've had chickens since we got married so I've been a chickie mom for about 7 years. Before that I had never been around them except for the livestock exhibits at the Fair.

My little girls are so excited. We lost an entire flock to coons this past winter after years of never seeing one around the coops. They were so heartbroken when they found out that Miss Prissy, Flutterbee, and Crimson were dead. Now we're rebuilding the flock and enabling FIL at the same time! My girls are in chickie heaven with all the new chickens! They have been busy thinking of names for the new ones, but I know they will have to remind me who is who.

It will be so exciting when you get your chickens! You should start a thread about your chicken journey!
