Hi!

I'm Brynn and am COMPLETELY new to BYC but couldn't be more excited! We are looking to add some pullets to our family in the spring (just for egg laying) and I want to be as educated as I can possibly be, having no first hand experience! I'm really interested in Easter Eggers and Orpingtons, but could use advice! :)
Found this site through a few friends who had actually "liked" the facebook page.
I love cooking (studied culinary arts), knitting, and am getting more into gardening and DIY (and of course I love animals ;) )
I'm married with 2 kiddos (3 girl and 1 boy), a French Bulldog/Heeler Mix, and a sweet, splotchy tabby.

Glad to be here!

Hi and :welcome

Best of luck getting started - chickens make great pets and it'll be fun for your kids as well  Chickens pretty much just need food, water and shelter. It doesn't have to be too fancy, our chooks sleep in an old shed with nothing but a roost in it, and they free range in the garden during the day.

Enjoy the site. :D

Education is very important nothing like it and BYC has a very nice library to look through and plenty of different Forums to choose from to ask all your Chicken question's
