Hello, from The Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia. Have a egg?

Hello,
I just wanted to update on my broody. I candled her eggs and found one was bad. I candled it and it did not look good. That is when I noticed it had a slight smell. So I took it from her. The other had no smell. Not sure on it . So I let her have that one. I put a fake egg under her to replace the other bad egg. I cracked it open and it had the head and body , a black spot maybe the eye on the head part and that was it. How far along is that? I lost the paper I wrote the date on and all the info. on. Oh' well I have 16 more eggs in bator and one under broody. Hopefull they will be better and hatch.
