Hello from the Finger Lakes!

I'm the proud owner of 2 Buff Orpingtons, 2 Red Stars and 26 Cornish Roasters, all 3 days old. So far they're all healthy, happy and growing fast!
We picked the chicks up at the Rochester postal transfer center on Sunday. My husband, who had been pretty unenthusiastic about chickens (except for their freezer and omelet potential) has totally gotten into them. He even built me an awesome brooder that's partitioned so we can expand it as the chickies get bigger.
I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone!
