Chirping
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? We've have chickens once before but have only had our current group since easter (gift for the kids from grandma)
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? We have three chickens right now (11 ducks).
(3) What breeds do you have? We have two brown ones and a white one. lol. For my ducks I have 2 Campbell Khakis, 4 Black Swedish, and 5 Cayugas.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? Love to eat the eggs. The chickens are friendly and the ducks are super cute and I love the way they quack. The kids love them too.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? Sports with the kids, gaming, I might start wood working, all things tech, and I just got racing homers.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. I'm 36, married for 16 years, I have 4 kids, 11 ducks, 3 chickens, 3 cats and 4 pigeons. I work as a marketer for a web developer and I'm currently working on my BS in Marketing and Advertising. My wife is a stay at home mom and manages our crazy crew.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome c
ommunity? Found the forum while searching for more info on my new pigeons. This seems to be the most active forum online. There are others specifically for pigeons but a lot of post seem outdated. Looks like a great community and I'm hoping to learn a lot.
