Well I guess my first post should be an introduction.
I'm a single mom with a preteen daughter and we've recently moved into my late grandparents little house on the prairie. Yes it's actually a small older farm house on 4 acres in the Kansas prairie.
Not much to look at but I have fond memories here and dreams for the future.
I was on this site a couple years ago as a lurker but my then husband gave my poultry plans the boot so I didn't stick around.
I have since given him the boot so I'm back and hoping to start my poultry adventures in the spring if not sooner.
That may already be TMI so I'll end here.
Looking forward to learning as much as I can.
