I'm a new/old member. I've been a reading and enjoying BYC for many years and have decided it's time to joint the fun!

Hi,

We do :) 2 Barred Rocks, 2 Eastereggers and 2 Speckled Sussex. They are 12 days old. We had chickens a few years ago but had to rehome them when we moved two years ago. Sooo glad to have chickens again.
 
Nice birds! We have the same breeds in our mixed flock (plus Rhode Island Red and Black Australorp). I bet you're having so much fun seeing them change almost day to day. You'll have a nice egg basket when they're older.

Sounds like you have a lovely flock! Those are some great breeds! I also have a speckled sussex and easter egger along with three buff orpingtons. I've always wanted barred rocks as well. They sure are pretty!

I love your avatar! What type of dog is that? A goldendoodle maybe? I have a standard poodle (pictured in my avatar) who looks quite similar.
 
Welcome to BYC. Glad you decided to join our flock. A lot of us were lurkers before joining. :o) You have some good breeds. Speckled Sussex are very friendly and gentle birds.
