(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? have had them all my life but haven't had them in a few years.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? none yet, but planning on around 8
(3) What breeds do you have? I prefer wyandottes & "Easter Eggers". hubby will want better layers though!
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? self sufficiency, learning opportunities for our children. mental health.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? crochet, gardening & raising kids.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. im a SAHM for my 3 young kids. we have 3 dogs as well, two of which will be learning how to live around chickens.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community? Ive been a byc member for probably around 10 years, I cannot remember the email to my old account though LOL.
