Brooder help

We just torn down our old coop and replaced it with a new one so I don’t have photos of the actual set up but I still have the piece of plywood I bought and the hardware that I can show you View attachment 4185822View attachment 4185823
So I got a piece of plywood to fit and found these things at ace, I have no clue what they’re called but anyways the hook part stayed in the coop and then when I needed to divide the plywood just clips right in. I had one on each end.

Hiiiii again! I ended up getting more ducklings they’re medium sized breeds and I’m trying to figure out what temps are acceptable for outdoor brooding (I’m planning to divide half of duck house, as you suggested). They’re 2 weeks old but I don’t feel they’ve outgrown their indoor brooder yet.. maybe in a few hours

The struggle is real!!!! Once you get ducks it’s like an obsession Lets see these new babies!

Where do you live again and what are your temps like? I’ve only done outdoor brooding in summer but depending on your set up it could still work going into fall.

I took them to my toddlers school today and they were a hit! Ducks loved it, kids loved it, teachers loved it! So fun!

I live in northern Delaware so the forecast these days is rather erratic. Lows range from high 40s to low 60s (F).

That’s what I’m worried about. I have a heating plate but that won’t fit them for much longer. I also have a heat lamp but I get very stressed about it catching the duck house on fire. Either way, I would need to put an extension cord out there
