Hello from another Texan. We are a little closer to you...I'm in between Jacksboro and Ft. Worth. But still hours away...don't you just love Texas lol! We have a mix of grasslands and hills and trees....Unfortunately a lot of my land is that crummy caliche? But I do have enough good old black dirt for a nice garden. Sounds like you have a lovely flock.
