Hello from Thomas family farm!

Hi everyone! I'm brand new to the site and semi new to a flock. We only had 5 hens last year but hatched 10 a few weeks ago and bought another 20! So were happily expanding our flock! We have many different breeds and are going to be getting Guineas and turkeys! I can't wait to read about everyone else's flocks!

Glad you could join the flock! Flocks do have an inexplicable way of expanding and yours certainly seems to be!! From 5 to 35 I would say the chicken math has taken hold of you. It's happened to us all. Good luck with your guineas and turkeys they are not breeds I've kept myself but we do a couple of guineas down at the farm where I keep the horse and they make some very interesting alarm calls.

Glad you joined our community! Congratulations on the successful hatch of chicks. Hatching chicks (and buying them) can be very exciting and addicting!
