Hello from Union Level, Virginia

I am new to BYC and also to chickens and am expecting my first babies at the end of April. We are busy converting a space previously used to house some pheasants for when the "kids" are older.

My husband and I live on 50 acres in south central VA without horses, mule, English Pointers, Pugs, Cats...and soon...chickens!

I am pretty much retired from Graphis design and am working at becoming an artist and have created a series of paintings called The Crows of Union Level. I paint portraits of dogs...what's next ? Chicken pix??

Hee hee...I DO paint crows...funny ones! They even have their own FB page...The Crows of Union Level, and are available as prints on Etsy! I am excited about my new little girls...a bit scared about their first few weeks...but excited none the less!
