Hello, I got my first chickens about a week ago. They are now two week old red sex links. I new to this whole thing but your site is very helpful at answering most of my questions. I just wanted to post some pics of my project coop and get any feed back that might help me start of right.

This was all made from old material. The coop was for smaller game birds. I added a perch and nesting boxes and a ramp. The pen around it was salvaged and repaired from the trash.

Hello from Oregon & welcome to BYC. I use a dog kennel as well for the chicken run. I reinforced mine with chicken wire as well as put a roof over to help with weather & predators.
