Thank you! They are going on 8 months now and I have yet to see the first egg from any of them!Any suggestions of what I I could be doing wrong? Or do I just wait it out?? I had them on organic chick starter up until about 2 months ago then switched them to a 16% protein feed and still nothing. They also get scraps (Veggies and fruit)n also when available. I have 15 laying nests and pine shavings down currently...
Thank you so much for the advice! We found our first egg last night! (It was stepped on because it was dark and no one seen it until it was too late) I believe from now on we will be looking for them on the ground. I also found out that we have 5 roosters in our bunch! That may be another reason for the lack of eggs. The hatchery where we had them shipped from were only supposed to send us 2 :/ So.. needless to say, we will be finding all but 2 new homes.
