Hello BYC!!! i have been raising chickens since 2010 - mostly silkies, but a few other breeds here and there. This year, i added Cayuga ducks to my hobby farm. We raise all of the birds for eggs and entertainment purposes - nothing beats sitting in the backyard watching the chickens and ducks! I have been referring to BYC for years whenever I had a question about my flock. I am looking forward to being a part of this community.

It is a small flock, and we moved them up here a year ago April. They adapted quickly, and like me, they appear to prefer the VT summers to the NC summers!
