Just starting and am ordering chicks this week. I'm excited as anything but afraid as well of making mistakes. Wish me luck.

Welcome to BYC!

Starting out can be daunting at first. But the more you know, the less nervous you will be!

Mountain Peeps has really got you on a great path to the learning. Definitely stop by our learning center for lots of good articles on getting started with chickens, raising the babies, building the coop and raising your adult flock.

Enjoy this new adventure you are on and welcome to our flock!
